Registered Radiologic Technologist | Aspen Medical Group employs Registered Radiologic Technologists (RT) that use diagnostic imaging equipment to produce images of the tissue, organs, bones and vessels of the body. RT's may specialize in mammography, computed tomography (CT scans), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) or other types of imaging with advanced clinical training. Education to become an RT can be obtained by attending two-year programs based in hospitals, enrolling in two-year programs at community colleges or technical schools, or attending four-year programs at universities and colleges.
All Radiology Technologists have been licensed through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). |

Radiology Technician | Aspen Medical Group employs limited scope Radiology/X-ray technicians who perform your general X-rays and Bone Densitometry Studies. Their education program consists of 12-16 months specific to Radiology. They are certified by a licensing agency which is governed by the State of Minnesota. |

Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer | Aspen Medical Group employs Diagnostic Medical Sonographers which are Diagnostic Ultrasound Professionals who are qualified by professional credentialing, academic and clinical experience to provide excellent diagnostic patient care services using ultrasound and related diagnostic procedures.
The scope of practice of the Diagnostic Medical Sonographer includes those procedures for which the individuals have received education and clinical experience, have demonstrated competency, and have completed the appropriate ARDMS certification(s), which is the standard of practice in diagnostic ultrasound. |

Radiologist | Radiologists are medical doctors who specialize in diagnosing and treating disease and injury by using medical imaging techniques such as X-rays, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and ultrasound. Your radiologist has graduated from an accredited medical school, passed a licensing examination, and completed a residency of at least four years of unique postgraduate medical education in, among other topics: Radiation safety/protection, Radiation effects on the human body, and appropriate performance and interpretation of quality radiological and medical imaging examinations.
